Win in Oakwood to Wrap up the Regular Season
We played a strong all-around game in Oakwood last night to defeat the Mariposa Lightning by a score of 3-1.
Sam led the way on offence, scoring a natural hat-trick in the first period to give us an early lead. Ryerson picked up an assist on one of the goals and was excellent throughout the game, digging hard for the puck and moving it up the ice.
Owen D. was in net for the second time this season and he played very well, making a few big saves to keep us in front. His defencemen did a tremendous job in front of him as well. In particular, Connor and Caleb both played one of their best games of the season.
We now have a few practices in a row (Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) to get ready for the playoffs next week.
