On Tuesday January 31/ 2017 The Lindsay Novice Teal Squad hosted their home town rivals Lindsay Novice White at the LRC. White would jump out to an early lead but Teal would push until they could even the score on a goal by Ethan Yurick # 17 assisted by Gavin Fyke # 11. Teal would then gain the lead on a goal by Jaxson Leith # 6 assisted by Hayden Runge # 15 and Ethan Yurick # 17., but only to have White get a lucky bounce on a shot that went off of a Teal defender and go into The Teal Net.
White would then take the lead late in the second period, but Teal pounded one in 14 seconds later to tie the game at 3 on an unassisted goal by Ethan Yurick # 17. The game then remained that way as it was a scoreless third period. Player Of The game Honours Today go to Evan Duncan # 12 for his solid gritty defensive play on the Teal Blue Line.
