A Busy December!
It's been a very busy start to December for the Lindsay Muskies Atom BB team!
The Brock Wild visited on December 5th, with the Muskies pulling out a close 1-0 win. Muskies only goal was scored in the second period by #59 Rylan Moore, assisted by #17 Wyatt Marsh and #88 Alex Cyr. Goalie #31 Jack Dermedy recorded his second straight regular season shut-out.
The Muskies were back at it the next day, travelling to Newcastle and recording a 2-0 win. Both Lindsay goals came in the first period, the first by #59 Rylan Moore unassisted; and the second less than a minute later by #70 Owen Davis, assisted by #9 Ian Kennedy.
On Muskies Day we hosted the Mariposa Lightning, recording an impressive 6-0 win. First period goals were scored by #14 Maguire Dietrich, assisted by #9 Ian Kennedy; and #59 Rylan Moore, assisted by #17 Wyatt Marsh. The only goal in the second came from #17 Wyatt Marsh, assisted by #88 Alex Cyr. The Muskies netted three more in the third, the first by #88 Alex Cyr, assisted by #77 Tyler Perrin; the second by #17 Wyatt Marsh, assisted by #34 Jack Evans and #97 Branndon Brown; and the last by #97 Branndon Brown, assisted by #19 Caitlyn Johnston.
In case you're keeping track, that's four straight shut-outs for #31 Jack Dermedy. Way to go Jack!!
Sundays game saw the Muskies lose a close one 1-2 to the Sturgeon Thunder. Monday night they were back to their winning ways beating the Durham Crusaders 5-2. The game started close with only one goal scored by #88 Alex Cyr, assisted by #77 Tyler Perrin in the first period. Defence #3 Brock Wilson added another in the second from the point. The Muskies took control of the game in the third scoring 3 more the first by #59 Rylan Moore, assisted by #17 Wyatt Marsh and #34 Jack Evans; second by #19 Caitlyn Johnston, unassisted; and the final goal scored by #88 Alex Cyr, unassisted. Great game Muskies!
