On Saturday December 1/2018 The Atom AE Muskies were at The LRC to host the Sturgeon Thunder. The Muskies would make several trips to the penalty box in this one and it would cost them each and every time.
Despite the penalty trouble the Muskies would hold the Thunder to a 1-1 tie at the end of the first.
Kennedy Phillips #9 would score the Muskies lone marker in this one on a pass from Charlie Baxter #14 and was also assisted by Hayden Runge #7. The Thunder took over from here and added 5 unanswered goals to hand the Muskies a 6-1 loss and another regular season loss.
Kennedy Phillips continues to push forward with grit and determination and as a result the rewards are starting to come her way. Phillips will need to rally the rest of her teammates and bring out the grit in them as The Muskies travel to Ayr this coming weekend in hopes of bringing home the Silver Stick.
