2013 Peterborough Liftlock Atom Tournament 'EE' Champions!

Jan 11th to 13th saw Lindsay Atom Black take part in the 55th Annual Peterbrough Liftlock Atom Tournament. Game 1 on Friday at the Kinsmen arena found Lindsay Black facing off against McDonalds Blue and after 3 periods of play, Atom Black ended with a convincing win of 10-0. Game 2 at 8 am Saturday morning in Ennismore had Atom Black on the ice with McDonalds Red. At the end of the third period Lindsay found itself out in front with a 6-2 win. Game 3 saw the team move to the rink at Keene for a match against Maple Lodge and at the end of play Lindsay Black had another win of 9-2. Another move of venue found Atom Black at Northcrest arena for their third game of the day. This time they faced Kawartha Coyotes Red in the Championship semi-finals and at the end of play, Lindsay was out in front 4-1 and earned the right to play in the 'EE' Championship game at the Memorial Centre on Sunday. Early Sunday morning the team once again gathered at the arena for the Championship game against Millbrook Stars 1. When all was said and done Atom Black found itself with a 5-2 win and were named the 2013 Peterborough Liftlock Atom Tournament 'EE' Division Champions! Congratulations Spencer, Nathan, Vincent, Joel, Jordyn, Brayden, Luke, Ethan, Mitchell, Andrew and Cole for a great combined team effort all weekend..............coaching staff and parents alike are all proud of your accomplishment.
