2013 Ptbo Liftlock Atom Tournament Skills Competition - Top Team Award
Lindsay Atom Black recipients of the 2013 Top Team Award - Ptbo Liftlock Tournament Skills Competition...
On Tuesday Jan 8th a group of Lindsay Atom Black players headed over to Peterborough to participate in the 2013 Ptbo Liftlock Tournament Skills Competition. This year saw over 280 kids participating in the Skills Competition in various events. At the conclusion of the competition, Lindsay Atom Black posted some impressive results considering the number of participants........Spencer Walden finished first overall in Goaltending, Cole Borrowman finished 2nd overall in Stick Handling / Puck Control, Joel Drew ended up 3rd overall in Target Shooting, Andrew Fraser was 6th overall in Stick Handling / Puck Control. Mitchell Williams and Jordyn Leerentveld had an impressive top 10 finish amongst all the players in the Speed Skating drill as did Brayden McReelis in the Shootout competition. Luke Wilson came on strong in the second round of the Target Shooting drill to finish well also. As the winners of the Top Team Award Lindsay Atom Black Players were presented with:
i) individual awards for the team
ii) name inscribed on a plaque as 2013 Top Team Award winners to hang in the Liftlock Atom Tournament hockey trophy case at the Evinrude Centre, presented at the opening ceremonies of the 55th Annunal Liftlock Tournament
iii) voucher for a 1hr hockey clinic put on by Currie Tire Hockey Club on Wed Feb 13th 7:15pm at the Kinsmen Arena
