Lindsay Tyke Rep. Muskies regular season starts with a bang.
The Tyke rep. Muskies got off to a explosive start in regular season play. The team went 2 and 1 on a three game road trip starting in Peterborough on Oct 12th. The season opener was a great match up, With Lindsay taking the win 4-2.  

  There was no scoring in the first period, thanks to stellar goal tending by Lindsay's 
net-minder Yianni Karkoulas.

  The stalemate continued for most of the second period, until, with just 27 seconds left on the clock, Winger Jax Radford opened the scoring with Blaze Selleck and Tyler Kyle picking up assist on the play. These three players are arguably the best named line in minor hockey.

  The third saw exciting back and forth play and 10:58 of the period Lindsay got their second tally at the hands of Kyle Sanderson with an unassisted goal.
 William Fierheller got the eventual game winner 17 seconds later on a sweet pass from Jacob Moore, making it 3-0 Lindsay. There was some tense moments as the Pete's popped two quick ones at 8:32 and 7:01 bring in the score to 3-2. the goals seemed to give the Peterborough team new life and vigor but with stand up defensive play lead by Thomas Malcolm and Karter Robertson, and rounded out by Michael Kennedy and Kadyn Goble, Lindsay weathered the onslaught. Late in the third, with a beauty pass from Sanderson, Selleck hammered the insurance goal passed the Pete net minder, solidifying the win 4-2.
