A Close Match and the Victory!
Lindsay White faced Lindsay Black on Sat Feb 22nd in a fast paced edge of your seat game. Lindsay White took the first goal minutes into the period 1 and Lindsay Black tied it only a moment later. The play was consistently back and forth in both ends, both teams skating hard! Another goal for White a few moments later, but by the end of period one, Black tied it up. Black took the first goal in period 2, but White were determined - passing the puck, making great defensive plays and excellent saves! White not only scored to tie, but scored again and held their lead into the 3rd period.
Black scored once in the 3rd, White scored three winning the game 7-4 - an exciting game that had us on our feet cheering the entire time! The Players of the game were Sam Sawchuckand Nathan Tew - Excellent job boys!
Players, Coaches and Trainers have all worked so hard and made tremendous progress as a team, way to go White!
