Busy end to the March Break with 2 away games!
Saturday afternoon (March 15th) heading to Sunderland on snow swept highways, Lindsay White faced Brock White. It was a tough game keeping White on their toes trying to gain control of the puck or scrambling to catch it or getting ahead of it as it went in our end. The first period saw 3 goals on Lindsay White and 4 goals in the second. Although Brock White was scoring, Lindsay White had awesome coaching and encouragement, were trying hard, stopped many more shots on net and had several very close goals themselves (great teamwork)! Brock scored 2 more in the third, but
Lindsay found the opportunity to prevent a shutout and scored once (efforts of 3 players). Those kids were tired and played a great game!
The player of the game was #14 Jack Sawchuck - Way to go Jack!
Sunday March 16th, Lindsay White played Millbrook in another afternoon game. In an interesting turn of event from the previous day, Lindsay White scored the very same sequence of goals that were scored against them......and it was a shut out for our goalie #13 Sam Sawchuck! Lindsay White showed some great displays of teamwork - watching out for one another, passing the puck and defending goal! And the way they hustle on a line change is pretty impressive! Well done White!

This marks the last game in the season and although preparing for tournaments in the next couple weeks, a big shout out goes to our Coaches and Trainers and Manager who have just been doing a tremendous job with the kids. They have come so far and look up to you all! Thank you Peter, Bo, Paul, Rich and Darryl!
