Final Tournament - all should be proud!
Sunday April 6th marked the final tournament of the season for the Lindsay Minor Hockey League Mites!

All three teams were dressed and looking super excited as the first two teams were announced on the ice and posed for a puck drop with 2 players from the Jr. Muskie Team.  Lindsay Black and Teal played the first game,

with Black taking the win.  Game two was White against Teal.  What a close and exciting game, both teams played hard and White won by 1 goal!  An honourable mention goes to Tyler Campbell on his first career goal and Colby Davidson on his first career assist.

In the gold medal game, White played against Black and again, a close game that went back and forth on the scoreboard.  White scored the first two goals of the game and even after losing the lead, fought back to even the score, yet in the end a loss to black 8-5.

There were incredible displays of teamwork, goaltending, stick handling and skating!  The dedication and improvement of these kids over the season has been awesome and enjoyable to experience; there is a tremendous appreciation for the team manager, coaches and trainers!

Congratulations to all players on a very exciting tournament - a job well done, your fans are proud!
