The Mite Black squad traveled to Bobcaygeon for an away game on a sloppy Sunday afternoon on Jan.4/15. Mite Black has had no problems scoring goals so far this season, but decided to treat their coaches to a clinic on defense. The Mite Black squad only scored seven goals, but managed to keep the Sturgeon white squad off the score board with some stellar defensive play.
Gavin Fyke continued his goal scoring streak with a one goal effort. Jake van Luik-Brohman added two markers of his own. Emerson Lang and Nathan Wooldridge both added a goal each, as well as Abigail Hagarty and Owen Mulcaster scoring their first career goals in a 7-0 win. The Player of the Game award was given to Abigail Hagarty and Owen Mulcaster for working hard and scoring their first career goals. Congratulations Abigail and Owen, your coaches and parents are proud of you. The whole team played fantastic, way to go guys!!
