Silencing the Thunder
On Sunday January 11/15 the Mite Black squad faced off against The Sturgeon Thunder Red squad at the Lindsay Rec Complex. Mite Black quickly silenced the Thunder, when Evan Duncan # 12 scored 30 seconds into the game and also followed that up with an assist and three more goals throughout the game. Jake van Luik-Brohman # 9 added two of his own to the total. While Gavin Fyke # 11 added a goal of his own to keep his scoring streak alive. Abdul Alfahd # 10 had a goal and Alexis Kostashuk # 8 recorded her first career goal in a 9 - 4 win.
The Player of The Game today was Alexis Kostashuk for scoring her first career goal. Way to go Alexis everyone is so proud of you!
