Saturday January 3rd Game #17
A second trip, to Millbrook, in as many weeks was in store for the Lindsay Teal team. Facing a very tough opponent, the Lindsay team was up for the challenge. Holding their own in the first period Lindsay held Millbrook to only three goals, despite heavy offensive pressure. This was, in part, from an amazing display of goal tending by Sam Sawchuck and hard play by all three lines. The constant barrage of shots was kept off of the scoreboard up until the late stages of the second period.
In the end, Millbrook was victorious but the effort from Lindsay Teal is to be commended. Their never quit attitude has been a pleasure to coach all season. Players of the game were Sam Sawchuck, Olivia Berthelot and Brock Wilson. Great job guys and we'll see you tomorrow for the bottle drive!
