End of Season Report
The Lindsay Tyke Black Muskies enjoyed a very successful 2014-2015 season. The team had some big wins on the ice, the players improved tremendously, and we all had a lot of fun along the way.  Here is a quick summary of the season:

Regular Season:
We started out the season in the Tyke A division.  Although we struggled against some difficult teams, the players learned to play better defensive hockey, as well as starting to figure out that they would need to pass the puck to be successful.  At the beginning of December, we were moved to the B loop, which was a much better fit for our team.  We started to find the net more, and managed to string together a few winning streaks.  By the end of the regular season, we had a record of 13-13-1 and finished in second place in the Tri-County Tyke B division.

Playoffs:
We began our first playoff series with a tough loss to Manvers.  The team battled back though to dominate the next three games and take the best of five series by a 3-1 margin.  We moved on to face Millbrook in the championship series.  This was a team that had our number throughout the season.  The players battled hard, but Millbrook managed to sweep the series 3-0.  Despite the loss in the championship round, the team was proud to be named Tyke B playoff finalists.

Tournaments:
We had our greatest success in our three tournaments this season.  In December, we were "A" finalists in the Woodville tournament, and in February, we were also "A" finalists in the Lindsay Tyke Tournament.  A few weeks later, we travelled to Grafton for their Tyke Tournament.  We won all three of our games and were crowned the "A" champions!

Special Thanks:
The players and parents would like to thank our excellent coaching staff and our fantastic manager.  Sean, Jason, Jon, and Rob did a great job with the kids this season.  They were able to share their knowledge and passion for hockey with the players, they were unfailingly positive, and they made sure that the kids all had lots of fun.  Our manager, Shannon, was well organized and she came up with some fun and creative ideas for team activities. The players were very lucky to have such a dedicated group of people running the team this season.

We would also like to thank our sponsors. The team was very fortunate to be sponsored by Boyer Chevrolet, Tim Finley of Timberfell Storage and Waste Disposal Solutions, Brad Williams of Straight Line Roofing, and Shannon Williams of Carma Industries.  Their generosity allowed us to register for our tournaments, and participate in a variety of team-building functions and activities.  Thank you!
