Tough Friday Night Loss
The second half of the season has began and it was a tough loss.
Millbrook was in town tonight and they proved to be a tough match this time around.
We had highlights and lowlights in this game.
The highlights included a great goal from Owen V with an assist from Jarrett B and great positioning by Connor S in front of the net with a great pass from Owen D.
Josh D played his position well and was poised to take some good chances with the puck.
All the boys had good moments during the game and we told them all after that we need to put it all together for the full 30 minutes.
The boys were in good spirits and enjoyed the game...that is what matters the most.
I wont focus on the lowlights..however, I will say that we have had an offer from a skating coach(Jenna Mitchell), who will be joining our practice Sunday to assist the boys. Please try your best to have the kids show up; it will be a valuable session and I am hoping that Jenna will be able to join us frequently.
She has graciously offered her time and it is appreciated.
We are going to work hard with the kids to improve during the second half of the season and I feel confident that we will improve further and become a team to contend with.
