Win against Woodville
Saturday Dec 13, 2014 Woodville visited Lindsay for the first and only time this season

The team had a couple of practices before this game and seemed to be pumped in the dressing room and were ready to hit the ice.
It was an important win for the team to build confidence and to get the swagger back in our step.
Ethan M worked hard in the corners and made sure the puck remained in Woodville's end every single time he stepped on the ice.  Two minutes and 11 seconds into the game Ethan managed to take control of the puck in the right hand corner and pass it out to Sammy T who potted his first of the game.
Nearing the end of the 1st period Owen V took the puck and passed it up to Maguire D who raced to the net and beat the goalie on his blocker side to give us a 2-0 lead.
The 2nd period was once again a very controlled period with Owen D, Josh D, Ian K, Owen V, Maguire D and Sammy T fighting for the puck at every opportunity and keeping the play in the oppositions end.
With 31 seconds left in the 2nd, Sammy T grabbed the puck near the front of the net(which was tipped by Josh D) and scored his 2nd of the game.(Refs missed this great tip)
The 3rd period it was evident that our team was frustrating the Woodville squad and the game began to get a little chippy.  We controlled the puck once again and took our bumps and slashes from the other team throughout but kept moving and didn't let it bother us in the least.
With 4 minutes left in the game Caleb A took the puck up the ice in an offensive rush and passed it to Sammy T who netted his third goal of the game to ice it for us.
Josh G was solid and at points in the game was dancing to the music.
Jarrett B chased down every Woodville player when they attempted to move into our end of the rink.
Caleb A was moving the puck up the boards and carried it up the ice with an offensive flair.
Connor S was a last minute defensive decision and played amazing and was like a dog on a bone fighting for the puck every chance he had.
Ryerson F stood tall and made some great saves and took away any chances Woodville had at mounting any kind of offence.
The kids fought hard for every inch of the ice and every opportunity and were hungry and determined to win.
Prior to the game we had our home jersey returned with our new Sponsor; Canadian Tire; proudly stitched on the back.
Also, we picked one Captain and two Assistant Captains to lead our team through the remainder of the season.
Congrats on the Win!!!!!!!!!!
