End Of the Season
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents on the team
We started the year a week and a half late with putting this team together at the last minute.
We patched together a group of Novice aged boys and a group of Tyke aged boys to compete as a Novice team.
It was an up and down season on the scoresheets but I believe it was an up year as far as friendships go.
I would like to thank all of the parents for all of the support that you provided the coaching staff and the kids.
The kids pulled together and never gave up in any game..this was highlighted in our final tournament when we were down 2-0 against Stirling and the boys tied it up in the 3rd period.
I think the last tournament was a sign of what is to come for these guys next year. Without a doubt, they played the best games of the season.
I am proud of all of them and it was great to see how their skating and their games improved over the year.
For those going onto Atom next season(Ryerson, Owen V, Griff, Josh D, Caleb, Josh G and Ethan)..I wish you all the very best and look forward to watching you at the arena next year. There is a vast amount of talent with these 7 and they will be a force to be reckoned with.
For those remaining in Novice(Sammy, Jarrett, Maguire, Connor, Owen D, Ian, and Aiden(Bulldog)); I look forward to seeing you all next year as well.
