Come from behind victory at home.
The Muskie Peewee AE team came from behind in the third period to earn their first win of the season.

The muskies came out hard against the Pickering Panthers on Thursday night at home. The Panthers scored first but Jacob Mitchell took a pass from his line mates Brayden McReelis and Bradley clarke to tie the game with a little over three minutes left in the first period.  Jacob scored again in the second period with Tyson Crum and Evan Sanderson getting the assists.

The Muskies were a little flat late in the second and had to play short handed after being penalized a couple times and unfortunately Pickering scored two goals in the second period to take the lead.

After the intermission the boys came out with an increased level of energy. Brayden McReelis scored two goals in less then two minutes, both assisted by line mates Cole Selleck and Bradley Clarke, and the Muskies were again in the lead. The muskies got an insurance goal from Bradley Clarke, with assist going to Jacob Mitchell and Henry Stephenson. Cole Selleck scored late in the third to cap the victory, Griffen Ronald and Tyson Crum got the assists on the goal.

Ryan Trennum had a another great game between the pipes. The defence core of Spencer Bolton, Tyler Lovering, Griffin Ronald and Henry Stephenson really played a stand up game and did not allow many shots on our net.

It was a real team victory with everyone contributing to this win. Although mistakes were made in the second period and allowed the other team back in the game the boys really rebounded and played as a team in the third period and really demonstrated to the coaches and fans that this team can compete.
The Muskie's will be looking for their second victory as they meet the Belleville Bulls at home on Tuesday.
