On Tuesday Feb. 2/16 The Tyke Black Muskies faced off against The Lindsay Teal Muskies at the LRC. The Black squad was looking for revenge after a late third period goal put the Teal squad ahead 3-2 for the win in their last contest. Black got the scoring started on a break away goal by Evan Duncan # 19 who also added an assist on a goal by Emerson Lang # 16. Jake Van Luik - Brohman # 9 added a marker of his own, as well as Devon Moynes # 3 with a pair, to edge The Black squad past Teal 5-3. Alexis kostashuk # 10 played her first game in goal for the win earning her shared Player of the game honours as well as Evan Duncan # 19 for his first goal of the season.
