Oct. 31st Game #3
Game #3 had the Mariposa Lightning on the road against Lindsay Novice Teal. Mariposa came out firing and scored on the first shift of the game. After settling in both teams had their chances to score but Lindsay Teal was down 2-0 at the start of the third period. Lindsay finally got a good shot on net in the third and managed to put one on the board.
The game ended 2-1 for Mariposa, thanks to an amazing performance by Lindsay's goalie, Nate Sanderson. The score could have been a lot more lop sided if not for the efforts of their goaltender. Lindsay moves forward with a good lesson of what kind of hard work it takes to play all three periods.
