Bobby Orr Tournament
The team visited Parry Sound this past weekend for the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame tournament and came away with a semi-final finish.

In game 1 on Friday they battled a confident hometown Parry Sound Shamrocks to a 0-0 tie.
Saturday morning saw our boys hang on to a hard fought victory over the Waterford Wildcats 3-2.  This left them needing a point to qualify for the semi-finals on Sunday.
Game 3, Saturday afternoon, was against a chippy Buffalo Regals team.  Our Muskies took the lead 1-0 before the opposition, playing a rather rough game, came back to tie it at 1.  This gave the boys first place in their round robin pool and a birth in a semi-final crossover game.
On Sunday morning the Muskies gave the West Ferris Trappers all they could handle but with 3 potential goals waved off and an empty netter, they came out on the short end of a 3-1 loss.
All and all it was a FANTASTIC weekend of good, hard team play and some great goaltending.  Every player deserves to be congratulated for competing hard every shift of every game from buzzer to buzzer.  Each game was exciting to watch.  With games like that it made for even more fun for them when they had some resort time.  SUPER effort guys!!!
