One To Build ON
On Thursday Feb. 16/ 2017 The Novice eal Squad faced off against their cross town Rivals The Novice White Muskies. This one promised to be a heated affair. White would get on the board first but Teal were able to tie it up late in the first on a goal by Ethan Yurick # 17 assisted by Evan Duncan # 12.
The second period would be a defensive battle and would once again end in a 1- 1 tie. White would get one mid way through the third to put them up by a goal. With Teal putting the pressure on in the White end with Just over 2 minutes to go, Rookie head coach Rich Fyke would pull a gutsy move to try and tie the game, by pulling the goalie for the extra attacker. It was a great call but to no avail, and White were able to capitalize and increase their lead to 3 -1 and add another to cap the 4 -1 victory. Today's warrior of the game goes to Eddie Moynes # 2 for sticking to Whites number one scorer like glue. Great Job Eddie. We will get them in the end!!!!!!!!
