Niagara Tourney
On Friday March 10/2017 The Novice Teal Muskies Travelled to Niagara Fall's to Play in the Niagara on The lake March Break Classic Tourney. Lindsay would be there to defend last years title that was one by their predecessors. Teal would have a rough start and lose to a much weaker NOTL club 4-1 on Saturday afternoon. So back to the water park and drawing board we go.
On Sunday morning The Teal squad would face off against the West London Hawks. Teal would jump out to a 3- 0 Lead but eventually with 30 seconds left and their goalie pulled The Hawks would tie the game 3-3. In their afternoon Matchup Teal would face Meadowvale who turns out weren't a LL or HL squad they were a rep select team and played like it pounding Teal 12- 0. No big deal it was a great weekend with lots of fun at the hotel and waterpark, along with all the attractions Niagara has to offer. Thanks Rich and Candice Fyke for this memorable tourney and team building experience. Now that being said are tourney MVP was Alexis kostashuk # 1 for her stellar goaltending despite the teams record. Lets bring it in the A championship. GO TEAL GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
