Game 23 vs Manvers
Sunday January 22 was to be a noontime battle between our Muskies and the tough Manvers Mustangs.
There is not much to write about this game; the score was 2-0 for the Mustangs in a hard fought battle.
Our Muskies battled bravely but were unable to solve the Manvers goalie who made save after save after save on our forwards and defence.
The 3rd period of the game was more than interesting with 4 penalties being called on our Muskies that left all of those in the crowd dumbfounded.
Our kids remained strong and finished out the game as ladies and gentlemen and did not let the calls get to them.
I would like to commend the coaches for questioning and clarifying some activities and for keeping our players safe during this game.
