Another One In The W Column
On Saturday October 21/2017 The Novice BB Muskies would play host to the Newcastle Stars. The Muskies looked good early in this one, with a goal from Ethan Chapman # 87 assisted by Evan Duncan # 12 and Collin DeShane # 16. That would be all of the scoring in the first.
In the second period the Muskies would strike twice with goals by Ethan Yurick # 17 assisted by Hayden Runge # 7 and Oliver Nicholls # 10 and another by Riley MacLean # 4 assisted by Hayden Runge # 7 and Ethan Chapman # 87. Newcastle would reply with one in the second to narrow the gap to 2. The Muskies would once again reply first in the third period on a goal by Ethan yurick his second of the game assisted by Gavin Fyke # 11 and jack Golden # 19. The Novice squad seemed to run out of gas at that point and Newcastle would put the pressure on and score 2 goals to narrow the gap to just one. Thanks to some great goaltending by Tyler Campbell # 1 throughout the game and especially in the last frame the Muskies were able to hold on for a 4-3 victory. Tyler's play earned him warrior of The Game Honours today. Great job Tyler keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!! Next up more shooting for the Stars but this time it is Millbrook's turn.
