It's Not Easy Beating Green: Lindsay vs Brock Wild Green, Round 2
The Brock Wild Green team were ready & waiting, and looking for a win, when the Lindsay Muskies Atom White came to Cannington on this past Thursday November the 16th.

It was an action packed game; 20 seconds into the 1st period, with a sharp assistance from Jaxson Leith #5, power forward Nathan Sanderson #29 lit the lamp for Lindsay. Brock repeatedly pushed back, and in an attempt to extinguish the Muskies, they put one up high over our netminder with a bottleknocker goal, tying up the game. Suddenly, another one with a little over a minute left in the period put Brock in the lead.

The Wild Green team flexed their defensive muscles, fighting hard in the 2nd period to fend off the attack from the Lindsay Atom White forward lines. Nevertheless, midway through the game, the Muskies sunk another, tying the game once again, 2-2.

Ross Kostashuk #2 entered the 3rd period with a rebound shot, assisted by Keira Watson #11 and Drake Robinson-West #9, resulting in a 3rd goal for the team, as well as his first of the regular season! Lindsay's defenders held the line and the Muskies scored again on a breakaway. Brock countered the charge but couldn't crack the Muskies defence. Their hard work paid off at almost 3 minutes to go when they finally broke through, scoring a 3rd for the Wild, and showing their opponent that they weren't going down so easily. With a minute to go in the game, their goalie quickly skated off, and they gained an extra attacker. The crowd cheered as a long shot from deep in the Muskies zone narrowly missed the Wild's empty net. The clock wound down though and the Muskies Atom White won in a close game over Brock Wild Green, 4-3.

Player of the game went to Ethan Peterson #14 for his heavy defensive presence, being that shield wall infront of his goalie, and his speed & accuracy in clearing the puck to protect the Muskies zone. Congratulations!
