Playoff Games #2 & #4: Muskies Atom White vs Durham Crusaders Green
The Lindsay Muskies Atom White team went right back to work when back-to-back playoff games would see them face off against the Durham Crusaders Green team in Lindsay for Game #2 on Tuesday Feb.27th.

The Muskies dominated the first period, scoring the first goal of the game at the top of the clock and then 5 more consecutive goals in the last 5 minutes of play. The Atom White team found themselves in a power play position from the beginning of the period and was able to add to their tally 2 power play goals - 1 at the end of the first and 1 more to kick off the 2nd period. Into the 3rd period, an already frustrated Durham team tried whatever they could to prevent the Muskies from scoring and unfortunately, midway through the period, game officials felt it necessary to call the game.

When The Lindsay Muskies Atom White team travelled south to the Iroquois Sports Centre in Whitby for Game #4 against the Durham Crusaders Green, fans saw a different game between both of these teams on Saturday March 3rd.

Lindsay's Nathan Sanderson #29 opened the game with the first goal in period one. Keira Watson #11 quickly put a 2nd one in the Durham net right after. The Crusaders fought back with one of their own, but the Muskies prevented them from tying things up as their defensive core held them off for the remainder of the period. Both teams endured back and forth play for most of the 2nd, and Keira Watson #11 broke the tension on the power play with her 3rd goal of the game just shy of the 4 minute mark. Devon Moynes #8 cushioned that lead for the Muskies with one of his own and as they started to feel comfortable with their lead, Durham swooped in with another for their team to narrow the gap and end the 2nd period 5-2. Off the top of the 3rd, Lindsay scored another, with a solid assist from Jaxson Leith #5. With 5 minutes left to go on the board, Drake Robinson-West #9 picked up a pass and drove one home for the Muskies, scoring the 7th goal of the game. The final moments were exciting as the Crusaders managed to add a 3rd one to their score, but it was Lindsay that would finish the game with just one more, for a final score of 8-3.
