The Atom BB Muskies traveled east on Sunday afternoon to try and "sweep" aside the PEC Kings. The Muskies took advantage of some lucky bounces in their favor on this day in both ends of the rink.The muskies led 1-0 after the 1st, and added 2 quick goals in the early part of the 2nd.
Soon after, PEC stepped up and notched 2 quick goals to close the gap to 1 again. Lindsay managed to gather themselves and put 2 more on the board to head to the room for the 2nd intermission with their 3 goal lead restored. In the 3rd the Muskies tightened things up defensively and added 2 more for a final of 7-2.
The Muskies will now move on to the quarter finals, where they will take on a high flying Napanee team.
