Recharge with Milk
This past weekend your Muskies peewee BB team traveled to beautiful Prince Edward County to Participate in the annual Milk tournament. A round robin style tournament to determine which top four teams of ten move into the medal games.
The Muskies faced in the first game an unfamiliar team from Petawawa. Your Muskies came out with charge, taking the Patriots by storm with a 10-1 defeat on Friday afternoon.
Early Sat. morning the boys came out buzzing to take on another unfamiliar team from Fort Erie. A strong performance from all led the boys to a 7-1 win.
Later that afternoon the Muskies were in tough to face a strong team from Mount Brydges. The Cougars were fast and strong on the puck but your Muskies out worked them to take the win 3-1.
The boys finished the round robin with the first place seed to take on the Caledonia Thunder in the semi finals. In a rough and tough game the Muskies came out on top 2-0 to punch their ticket in to finals.
The final match up went only minutes after beating the Thunder from Caledonia against the Dorchester Dragons. After 35 mins of penalty filled hockey your Muskies came up a bit short and took home the silver.
The coaches and parents are proud of all the boys for the effort and determination. A great weekend for all!
