Gibby's Revenge
On Tuesday November 27th/2018 The Atom AE Muskies travelled to Oakwood to play The Lightning at The Oakwood Forum, one of the oldest Barns in the league. With Coach Runge serving a suspension, he would not be able to face off against his now friend and former teammate, but at one point was his former combat opponent when they played for opposite teams in the OJHL. Brad Gibbs who was coaching the Lightning squad was able to seize this opportunity.
The Lightning would strike quick and often bolting out to a 3-0 lead before Hayden Runge #7 would notch one for the Muskies and keep his point streak alive. The Bolts would add 2 more, before Charlie Baxter # 14 would poke a lose puck past the Mariposa tender to make the final score 5-2 for the Mariposa squad.
Just Remember Lightning can strike twice, so lets be prepared for the next encounter with the Bolts!!!
