The Slop Nest Monster
On Wednesday October 9th/2019 the Lindsay Atom BB Muskies played host to the Mariposa Lightning at the LRC. The Muskies coming straight off a commanding victory over The Newcastle Stars on Sunday, were pumped and full of confidence. The Muskies would take to the ice and their bright Jerseys would clash against the milky ice.
The Muskies would jump out to an early first period lead on a goal by Ethan Chapman #49, which would be his first of the season in his return to the Muskies Roster. The rest of the game would be marred with sloppy individual play. This sloppy play would result in a goal by Mariposa to tie the game at one a piece until late in the third when Memphis Volaine #93 would put one in the Mariposa twine to save face for the Muskies squad, on a night that was plagued by penalty trouble and sloppy play from the Muskies lineup.
The Atom BB Muskies will see action next on October 20th/2019 when they travel to Millbrook to play the Stars in their brand new state of the art stadium.
