Atom BB Muskies Weekend Wrap Up
As Halloween approached the Atom BB Muskies would have a busy week with 2 practices and 3 games over the course of a week. The Muskies would first face off against The Millbrook Stars on October 30th at the LRC. The Stars delivered the Muskies their only loss so far this season.
The Muskies would this time hand the Stars a lesson in astrology sending them back down highway 35 with a 7-2 loss to ponder. The boys went out of the gate hard and played gritty and battled for every puck all game long.
Next up The Muskies would travel to Woodville where they would hand the Hurricane squad a 5-0 loss on Saturday November 2nd. Again the squad would play a solid game and battle hard for every puck. The Blue Liners would hold the puck in the offensive end well, allowing the forwards extra time to get open and provide the much needed offensive explosion this team needed.
On Sunday November 3rd The Muskies would travel to Beaverton to face the expansion Wild squad to the Atom loop. This one was not a fair contest as the Muskies scored early and often to power past the Wild with a 15-2 victory.
The Team has really started to gel over the past week and are becoming a well oiled machine. This coming Wednesday the Muskies play host to a hungry Coyote squad, who have a lot to prove. The Muskies squad better come ready to play and bring their "A" game. Don't miss this barn burner it promises to be entertaining.
