The Clash
On Saturday December 9th The Atom BB Muskies travelled to Durham to take on the mighty Crusaders. The Muskies would quickly silence the fight of the Crusaders. The Muskies would struggle at first to pass the puck and move the play efficiently.
As a result The Muskies would only tally once in the first on a goal by rookie sensation #10 Oliver Nicholls. The Crusaders would quickly tie the game early in the second frame, But this only heightened the Muskies feeding frenzy leaving the Crusaders stranded in open water. Ethan Yurick # 17, Emerson Pringle # 44 and Hayden Runge # 7 would all tally once each in the second and third frames to add to the lead. Memphis Volaine # 93 would add a pair of his own to round out the 9-1 pounding and help the Muskies bomb the boats that feed the Fish!!!
Next up the Muskies travel to Napanee this weekend to take part in the Andy MaGarvey Memorial tourney
