Successful Bear Hunt
On Friday February 14th/ 2020 The Muskies would travel to Bracebridge to start their quarter final series with the South Muskoka Bears. The Muskies would take it to the Bears and come out on top with a 6-2 win and a one to nothing series lead heading back home for game two on Saturday.
On Saturday February 15th The Muskies hosted the Bears and this time The Bears would push it to OT But Hayden Runge # 7 would deliver the kill shot and give the Muskies a 3-2 win and a two games to nothing series lead and a chance to sweep the Bears on Sunday at home.
On Sunday February 16th the Muskies would once again host the Bears in a tight affair that would end with The Bears scoring with twenty five seconds left in the game and take home a 4-3 win to push it to game 4 on Friday February 21st.
The Muskies would once again have a tough fight on their hands and find themselves down by one goal going into the third but were able to pull it together and eliminate the Bears with a 8 to 4 win.
Next up the Muskies start their semi final series with The Collingwood Blackhawks on Saturday February 29th in Collingwood and back in Lindsay on Sunday March 1st.
