Stinky Fish
On Friday October 25 the Muskies took on the Mariposa Lightning and from the beginning of the game it seemed like the Muskies were suffering from a P.A. Day hangover. The fish came out flat and never truly got anything going and came out on the wrong end of a 5-2 score.

Mariposa showed up ready to prove themselves and show they are a team to be reckoned with this season. The Lightning’s size, strength on the puck and a hot goalie proved too much for the Muskies to handle.

#14 Charlie Baxter was one of the few bright spots for the team. His never quit attitude and tenacity for the puck makes him a player you hate playing against but love having on your team. His hard work paid off for him and he fought off a couple of bigger Lightning players to break in all alone to beat a hot Mariposa netminder.

#6 Keegan Avery, another player known for his incredible work ethic, was the white and teal’s other goal scorer when he found himself all alone in front and buried his first of the year. #87 Isaac Minor showed he’s not just a sniper by assisting on both Muskie goals.

The Fish hope to take what they’ve learned from this game and bounce back Sunday October 27 in Millbrook when they take on the Stars. LETS GO MUSKIES!!!!!!!!!
