Friday Night Fright- Fear The Fish
On Friday November 1/19 the Muskies hosted the Millbrook Stars at the Lindsay Rec Complex. Both teams were looking to avoid the dreaded Halloween hangover.
It was the Stars who would put a scare into the Fish first by scoring to go up 1-0. #8 Colton Lytle would answer back when he beat the Stars netminder to tie it up at 1 apiece. The game would remain tied until the middle of the second period when#16 Alex Currie sent the crowd into a frenzy as he buried his first of the year. #87 Isaac Minor would add another for the Muskies to make it 3-1. Minutes into the third period the Stars would score to cut the lead to 1. Minor would then bat home a #19 Kennedy Phillips rebound to regain the 2 goal lead before completing the hat trick going in all alone on the unassisted breakaway goal for a 5-2 final score.
The Fish don't have to wait long to get back into it as they travel to Newcastle to take on the other Stars tomorrow. The puck drops at 4:30. GO MUSKIES GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
