Early Registration – Earn 10% Discount till April 12th, 2015
Early Registration is open! Available online until April 12th, 2015. Follow the steps below:
1. Select the EARLY! Registration Package available at Hockey Canada Registration
2. Complete the Registration Form and Checkout
3. Send your payment to LMHA by May 1st, and receive your discount.
Please note that cash payment will only be accepted in person, during the LMHA Awards Banquet, on April 12th. All registrations submitted after April 12th will be subject to the full rate. Payment must be received by May 1st to be eligible. The 10% discount is applicable to regular registration fees for 3-County, AE & BB levels.
Hockey Canada Registration Login
You must have an account with Hockey Canada's Online Registration system to be able to register your children into hockey with LMHA. If you have previously registered children online with Hockey Canada's system for any association, then you can proceed to login with your account. If you have not registered any participants in the past with this system, please click “to create an account” on the welcome page. Your account will allow you to register participants in Regular Season packages, Tryouts, and submit requests for Permission to Skate and NRP Passports. You will be able to view your order status, print receipts, retrieve tax receipts and view payments. Please refer back to your account for updates on your child`s registration.
Payments
Only registrations with full payment will be processed. After you complete registration online, please follow with payment. If you wish to register a player and select a LMHA deferred payment plan, post-dated cheques must be submitted with registration (cash payment not eligible for payment plan). For details of payment plans – refer to “Deferred Payment Plans”. Payment is accepted by cheque or money order. Cash will only be accepted in person at the LMHA Awards Banquet.

Fundraising Fee
2015/2016 fundraising fee is $125.00 per family. Upon registration, a book of 25 x $5 raffle tickets must be purchased. This year’s raffle includes 3 TV packages, provided by Earl Kennedy Electric, 10 $500 cash prizes and 1 $1000 cash prize. Payment for tickets is required at the time of registration. Tickets will be distributed with registration at the LMHA Awards Banquet or in September by the team manager. Please note, if you do not register your children at the same time, checkout with automatically apply a $125 fee to each order. Only 1 fee is applicable and the additional fees will be removed during order processing.
Mandatory Volunteerism
Your local Minor Hockey Association is run by volunteers at every level. With your child’s registration, you have an obligation to volunteer for a LMHA hosted event. Volunteer hours are distributed amongst each LMHA team and include the opportunity to volunteer at LMHA Tournament, Lindsay Ex Food Booth, Cookie Dough Fundraiser or Country 105 Dance. Child Fitness Tax Credit
Print your receipt and retain for Child Fitness Tax Credits. Only the portion related to registration fees is eligible for Child Tax Credits. Family Discount
Families with 3 or more children registered with LMHA will receive the family discount. The lowest priced registration fee will be substituted for a flat rate fee of $200. Players must be registered with Hockey Canada under the same residential address to be eligible. Please note the fee will be adjusted after checkout. Once the registration has been submitted, the fees will be reviewed and the online order will be adjusted. A revised receipt will be made available on your HCR Account.
Registration Division & Level
Player’s must register & provide payment for the division and /or level they wish to play. All players wishing to attend LMHA BB tryouts must be registered for the 2015-2016 Season. Should the player be deemed ineligible, by LMHA board or appointee, for the registered division or level, reimbursement of the difference will be issued in September.
E.I. Atom aged player wishing to attend tryouts must register under the BB rate.
Registration by Age
Players who wish to register in a division other than their natural age division require a technical assessment, completed by a LMHA Board appointed Technical Assessment Committee, before being rostered to play in a greater age division. If the player meets eligibility, by technical assessment the player will be able to register in a greater age division where space is available. No player moving up may displace a player who is eligible by natural age. Please indicate on your registration if your child would like to play in a different age division.

Payment in full is due at the time of registration or one of the following payment plans may be elected.
1. A $125.00 Fundraising Fee and $150.00 deposit at the time of registration ($275), with one postdated cheque for August 31, 2015 in the amount of the remaining registration.
or
2. A $125.00 Fundraising Fee and $150.00 deposit at the time of registration ($275), with two postdated cheques for August 31, 2015 and September 30, 2015 in equal amounts of the remaining registration.

Child Recreation Grants and Financial Assistance
All players applying for the Jumpstart, Kids Sport Grant or any other child recreation financial assistance are required to meet the full payment or one of the payment plans. If funding is received by LMHA prior to the payment plan dates, postdated cheques will not be cashed. If funding is received after the payment plan dates cheques will have been cashed and a refund will be insured for the credit balance. Please be sure to keep the treasurer informed of any pending funding applications and the associated tracking numbers to ensure prompt refunds.
