Muskies Weekend


LMHA's Muskies Weekend celebrations return to the LRC starting Friday, December 8th and will continue through until Sunday, December 10th.  The weekend will feature the Jr. A Muskies Alumni game, lots of league hockey games, guest appearances, kid entrepreneurs, silent auctions and more.  You won't want to miss it!!!  

Friday, December 8th:  Jr. A Muskies Alumni Game starting at 5:30 pm, followed by the Jr. A Muskies regular season game against the Toronto Junior Canadiens.  Tickets available at the door.  During these games, we will be announcing the winner of the U7/U8 "To Catch A Muskie" contest. 

Saturday, December 9th:  Lots of regular season games throughout the day from U7's to U18's.  Each player will be treated to a snack and drink in our fishpond following their game.  Vouchers will be provided on the day of at the check in desk in the front lobby. In the lobby, we will have our new apparel vendor Affiliated Sports Group.  Brad Smith, will be able to show you all of the ways you can customize your apparel and will be taking orders (to arrive in the new year).

Checkout "Blades" in the lobby for some special "Muskies Weekend" named treats.  Ian and his team will be able to serve you.

Need your skates sharpened or forgot something for a game, Hemy Hockey will be open throughout the day.

Fish pond will also be available from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm 

• Come see our Kid Entrepreneurs selling a variety of special items they've created from materials such as epoxy, 3D printing, crochet, beads, food and more.  Lots of great ideas for holiday treasures.

• Come check out Rob Murray from Original 6 Memorabilia as he features some special items for a Silent Auction.  

• Come see all of the LMHA Silent Auction items or take a look through some older jerseys from year gone by.  Great to use for practice jerseys.  Lots of items available for sale.

• NOTE: All proceeds will be going to our "Hockey For All" program.

From 1-4 pm, sponsored by Williamson Chrysler Lindsay, come meet former Leafs player, Wendel Clark.  He will be taking pictures and signing some autographs from 1-2 pm, then doing a special on-ice skate from 2-3 pm (sign up for your chance to join him) then taking part in a special interview after the 1^st period of the Lynx vs. Muskies U18 Charity Game.

From 3-5 pm, sponsored by Twisted Trauma, the Lynx. vs. the Muskies U18 Charity Game.  Bring a new unwrapped toy for the Kinsmen Toy Drive and make a donation to the Food Source.
With your donation (toy drive or food source) you will receive a ticket to win a door prize. Draw will the place after 2nd period.

Sunday, December 10th:  Lots of regular season games throughout the day from U7's, U11 and U18 Local League, as well as U11-U15 Rep Teams.  Each player will be treated to a snack and drink in our fishpond following their game.  Vouchers will be provided on the day of at the check in desk in the front lobby.
