Great day in the ice!
An excellent game Saturday March 1 for Lindsay White against Millbrook White proving teamwork pays off! Lindsay White scored the first goal early in period 1 and held the lead until late in the period when Millbrook scored. The score remain tied with the play moving back and forth on the ice until just over halfway into the 2nd period when Lindsay White again edged out in front....but in less than a minute, Millbrook tied it again! This was a close game and fans were cheering hard! With just over a minute to go in the 2nd, Lindsay White put another one past Millbrooks net to end the period up by 1! Knowing how fast a game can change and the trend of this game, there was no breathing easy for Lindsay White (or parents), but Lindsay White
remained focused, practiced passing and scored early, midway and in the last minute of the game - a total of 3 goals in the last period, for a final score of 6-2!
A big welcome back to #3 Tyler Campbell rejoining his teammates after a hot and sunny vacation (what a great time to be away after the weather we've had!). The payer of the game was also #3 Tyler Campbell - way to go Tyler!!!
