Tyke LL - Black, U5 & U7, 2012-2013 (Lindsay Minor Hockey)

The Tyke Black Muskies returned home late Saturday evening with the Colborne "A" championship title.  After a thrilling day of competition, the boys were rewarded for there efforts with a hard fought 3-2 win over the Orono Sr. Tyke Leafs in the final. The first game was decided by a shoot out where goalie Baylee Borges challenged all 3 opponent shooters and sealed the victory for Tyke Black.   Congratulations for a hard fought title.  You represented LMHA extremely well all day. Good luck with your best of 7 series vs. Brock for the Tri County Tyke "A" Championship.

The Lindsay Tyke Black Muskies will be heading to Colbourne Ontario ( the home of the Big Apple) for a Sr Tyke tournament on March 2. They will be looking for a  repeat performance shown in  Havelock earlier this season. Good Luck Tyke Black and continue to practice and play your best leading up to March 2.

The Tyke Black Muskies returned home late Saturday evening with the Havelock Sr. Tyke "A" Champions Trophy. Every player dedicated themselves to doing the little things that help a team  achieve success.  The Tyke Black Muskies wore down a much larger team from Barrie , then Otonabee, and were   set to face the hometown favourite Havelock Hawks in the finals. The Muskies game out ready to play in the final game and scored a couple quick goals to silence the hometown crowd. They cruised on home with a well deserved victory! January 26 will see the LindsayTyke Black Muskies face off against Barrie @ 11 am in their first game of the Havelock Sr. Tyke tournament.  The next game will follow at 2 pm . The seedings will then determine the third and final game for Tyke Black! Good Luck and have fun !

The first game of a home & home weekend series saw the Tyke Black Muskies skate to a 4-4 draw with Brock Green. Muskie goaltender, Baylee Borges, played a great game to help give the home team a chance to come back and tie the game with 1:31 left in the third period.   It was a fantastic team effort with every Tyke Black player working hard each and every shift. Great effort Tyke Black! Lets bring the same energy tomorrow to Beaverton for the 4 pm rematch.
