Ayr Hockey Challenge Game 3

The Lindsay Peewee Teal Muskies punched their ticket to the playoff round with a convincing 6-0 win over Coldwater at the Ayr tournament. Jarret Bolton led the way with a hat trick. Sam Thurston, Keira Watson and Logan Loveys had the other goals for Lindsay, who led 1-0 after the first period and 3-0 after the second. Riley Bolton collected the shutout in goal.

The Lindsay Peewee Teal Muskies hit the win the column in Ayr with a dramatic third-period win over Noble King. With the game tied 2-2 late in the third period, Jonas Mackie buried a shot past the Noble King goalie and the Muskies held on for a 3-2 victory! Andrew Smith and Sam Thurston had the other Lindsay goals. Riley Bolton picked up the win between the pipes.

The Lindsay Pee Wee Teal Muskies opened their season-ending tournament in Ayr with 3-1 loss to a very strong Dresden team. The Muskies started strong, with Andrew Smith scoring early in the first period. However, that was all the offence they could muster as the opponents shut them down the rest of the way. Dresden scored twice in the first and once more in the second period to secure the victory. Riley Bolton was very strong in goal, making a number of big saves.

Logan Loveys scored twice and added two assists to lead the Lindsay Peewee Teal Muskies to a 5-2 victory over the Sturgeon Thunder in playoff action on March 21 in Fenelon Falls. The Muskies staged quite the comeback in their final post-season game. Lindsay trailed 2-0 after the first period before scoring three times in the second and twice more in the third! Andrew Smith scored twice for the Muskies to help the cause while Sam Thurston had a goal and an assist. Riley Bolton played a strong game between the pipes to collect the win.

Sam Thurston scored four goals to lead the Lindsay Peewee Teal Muskies to a 5-4 win over the Sturgeon Thunder in playoff action on March 6 in Lindsay. Logan Loveys had a goal and an assist for the Muskies. Connor Swann, Kevin Yurick and Griffin Wilson also had assists. Riley Bolton picked up the win in goal. The team is back inaction after the March Break for the final game of the playoffs and then their year-end tournament!
