LMHA Covid-19 Screening & Procedures Update
Please review the following update from Lindsay Minor Hockey Association regarding our Covid-19 Screening & Procedures prior to attending the arena:

Entering the Arena:

  • Players are able to enter 1 hour before games & 30 mins generally before practice. We encourage players arriving to a game or practice early to stay in the dressing rooms and not wander the arena or mingle with players from other teams. Please try to stay amongst your team.

  • Parents & spectators are encouraged to enter the arena 20 mins prior to games. This is a recommendation as we understand younger players need assistance from their parent

  • If anyone has any Covid-19 symptoms do not enter the arena. A rapid test will not clear you to go to hockey. You must have a Covid-19 test performed by booking an appointment (Covid-19 Testing in Lindsay: https://www.rmh.org/covid-19)

Inviting Players from Other Teams:

  • Players from other teams are not to attend practices other than their own team

  • Only Affiliated Players (APs) may attend their affiliated team's practices if the intention is that they will be needed for an upcoming game

  •  We are trying to limit the amount of contacts & other teams that playing might be mixing with

LMHA Covid-19 Screening Tools:

All players, coaching staff, parents, and spectators must complete the LMHA Covid-19 Screening BEFORE entering the arena. Covid Reps & Managers will not allow you into the ice pad if this has not been completed first!

If LMHA Covid Reps/Managers have any problems with someone not completing the Covid-19 Screening please contact Jessica W ([email protected]) and we will ensure that you are being supported.

Tournaments & Away Games:

  • All players, parents, staff, & spectators must complete our LMHA Covid-19 Screening prior to travelling to the tournament. This only needs to be done once for the weekend to ensure proper contact tracing in the event that it is requested by Public Health.

  • Continue to complete the LMHA Covid-19 Screening when attending away games as well as any other requirements set forth by the other team, organization, and/or municipality.

We thank you for your cooperation
