LMHA Hockey For All Fund

LMHA understands the growing costs for families when registering your young player in minor hockey programming.
We wish for every child to have the opportunity to play, regardless of financial circumstances, and for families to feel comfortable in coming forward to ask for help when these circumstances become a barrier.

All applications to the LMHA Hockey For All Fund are reviewed by the executive
and information is always held in strict confidence.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must play on one of our Local League or Representative Teams

  • LMHA requires a family to first apply to an external subsidy program (like those listed above) prior to asking for financial assistance through the LMHA Hockey For All program

  • Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis after a confidential financial interview has been conducted

  • Each individual grant will be at the discretion of the executive

  • Financial assistance will vary depending on each case and only one application per calendar year

  • Funding available for different members of the same family during the same season

  • Funding approval is dependent on the financial situation of each child and will be determined by the executive

  • LMHA reviews all applications and the applicant will be contacted to arrange a financial interview

  • All required documents must be completed and received in full to be considered
