Update: Reopening & Return to Hockey
After reviewing information from the City of Kawartha Lakes & OMHA, LMHA practices & games will resume January 31st 2022 and will closely resemble where we left off just before the holiday break in December.

  • Games & practices will proceed as scheduled. Double check your team ice time schedule before heading to the arena!

  • Tournaments will proceed as scheduled. Check with your tournament organizer for any possible updates


  • Everyone must continue to complete & pass the the LMHA Covid-19 Screening BEFORE entering the arena for all practices and both Home & Away games (This still includes all away teams arriving at our arena)


  • City of Kawartha Lakes arenas now have a Max. 80 spectator capacity limit (2 per player) except Lindsay Rec Complex Pad 1 (limit is 200)

  • Dressing rooms must be vacated 20mins after ice time - loitering is not permitted

  • Managers/Covid Reps: continue to check with other centres before travelling to away games for their protocols, and when away teams arrive to our arena, ensure that our capacity limits, LMHA screening, & protocols are followed as well

  • Security will continue to check QR codes along with government issued ID (required for entry to the arena as of Jan.4 2022)

  • Get your Enhanced Vaccine Certificate: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/get-proof/ (save to your phone or print a paper copy)

  • If security is not present, the team Covid Rep must check for Proof of Vaccination (download the Verify Ontario App to scan QR Codes)
