Novice LL Teal, 2015-2016 (Lindsay Minor Hockey)

The first half of the Novice Teal Muskies regular season has drawn to a close with outstanding results. Since game #6, Novice Teal has not conceded a loss. Going 5-0-2 to finish out the first half. With fantastic team play, passing and timely goal scoring this team is really rolling. The coaching staff and parents could not be more proud of their efforts.

Saturday morning came early for Lindsay Novice Teal with a game at 9:00am in Millbrook. The Millbrook team proved to be a very tough opponent and refused to be easily knocked off of the puck. Lindsay showed great flashes of good hockey sense and awareness

The first game of November for Lindsay Novice Teal came against a tough opponent in Lindsay Novice Black. Once again Lindsay Teal allowed a lot of scoring chances early resulting in an early lead for Black. Great goal tending from Nate Sanderson kept Lindsay Teal in the game until the end. Teal pushed back with a strong offensive effort but in the end came up just a little short of a victory. Teal looks to take these lessons learned into the rest of the season and use them towards a winning effort. Great job Muskies!!

Game #3 had the Mariposa Lightning on the road against Lindsay Novice Teal. Mariposa came out firing and scored on the first shift of the game. After settling in both teams had their chances to score but Lindsay Teal was down 2-0 at the start of the third period. Lindsay finally got a good shot on net in the third and managed to put one on the board.

Coming off a great team effort and a victory in their first game, hopes were riding high for game #2. Sturgeon paid Lindsay a visit for this contest and were packing a great goaltender. Despite putting fourth a great effort and out chancing the Sturgeon team, they could not solve the goal tending at the other end of the rink. The game ended in a hard fought tie, 1-1.
