Great Season
The Lindsay Muskies Bantam BB team came up against a hard hitting, fast and well co-ordinated South Muskoka Bears. Game 1 saw the boys improve and find their comfort level as the game went on against an unfamiliar opponent.
Playing game 2 in the opposition's older rink in front of a large partisan crowd, they found themselves in some early penalty trouble. After recomposing the team battled hard through the rest of the game. The score not being a true indication of the team's play.
Playing at home with their backs to the wall in game 3, the team came out very determined and lead after 2 periods but with an unfortunate bounce found themselves on the short end of a 2-1 score. This was a truly entertaining game showing the true ability and fortitude of the boys. It was an excellent effort all round proving that they wouldn't go down without a fight.
What a great season it has been for this team! As a group they came through a lot of highs and lows to advance to the OMHA Semi-Finals. Through 50 games this season it has been a pleasure to watch not only the individual improvement of each player but also the boys coming together, working hard, implementing a system and playing as a one team. Great Season!
