Atom BB, 2018-2019 (Lindsay Minor Hockey)

The Atom BB Muskies traveled east on Sunday afternoon to try and "sweep" aside the PEC Kings. The Muskies took advantage of some lucky bounces in their favor on this day in both ends of the rink.The muskies led 1-0 after the 1st, and added 2 quick goals in the early part of the 2nd.

Game #2: The Lindsay Muskies Atom BB came out a different team than they did in Game 1. There was no giving up any early goals on this day.  The Muskies scored first and battled hard right from puck drop. PEC did manage to tie the game up late in the 1st. However, from there it was ALL Muskies. 

The Atom BB Muskies kicked off their playoff run on Saturday at home against the Prince Edward County Kings.The Muskies seemed to leave everything in the room at the start of the game.....PEC did not! The Muskies learned quickly that this team hadn't travelled this far to roll over. Within the first few minutes the Muskies were facing a 2-0 deficit! BUT.....Then the Muskies woke up!

The Lindsay Atom BB Muskies traveled to Orono on Friday night to kick off a 3 games in 3 days stretch.The first period was a back and forth affair, however you could see the relentless pressure of the Muskies was starting to wear on the Orono team.The pressure continued into the 2nd and the Orono team began to buckle. The Muskies put a 6 spot up on the board during this period. The 3rd period was just more of the same as the relentless pressure of the Muskies was just too much for the hosts. Another 6 goals in the 3rd had the final score at 12-1. A great start to the weekend!

Everyone knows October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Cancer now seems to have affected every one of us in some way or another. Lindsay Atom BB team showing their support by wearing pink laces and putting pink tape on their sticks. Atom BB played the Brock Wild and pulled out a 12-1 WIN on Saturday and a 5-1 WIN on Sunday
