A New Beginning
Since the last article, the high flying Novice Teal Muskies have been fighting it out with some heavy contenders, posting an admirable record of two wins and two ties. Andrew Smith has been hitting the back of the net on a dependable, regular basis, while Jonah Madsen has been taking off on so many breakaways that he is ready to cash in his air miles card for a vacation.
Last night, the muskies began the second part of their season with a hard fought victory.
Leading the way was Tyson Forget with silky, skillful passing plays and steady defensive work. His counterpart, Ryan Peever, was a steady force providing rock solid defense for his team and a migraine headache for the opposing team. Their next challenge is this Saturday against Sturgeon Novice.
