TEAM Spirit
Lindsay Novice Teal is beginning to gain positive momentum as their last two victories were shutout wins. It has been easy to see that Nolan Bruno has been working out at home - he is skating faster and faster! Jack Newton has also been highly impressive, developing a strong two-way game and using his size to his advantage more often.
We are very grateful to the Lindsay JR. A Muskies, who visited our latest practice and showed us how to get even better and a couple secret techniques.
We are sorry that we tied you in our game (not really) - next time we won't give you our goalie. The BIG Muskies were fun, great teachers, and much appreciated!
The title of this article is called Team Spirit and that has been fully demonstrated by Tyler Johnston who is willing, at any moment, to take on any role that the coaching staff asks of him. No complaints! And he does it to the best of his ability, which most of us know is very, very, very, very high. He leads by example. Since we are on the topic of leadership, I should mention one of our other great leaders, Lukas Kennedy. He is new to Lindsay minor hockey, but you can quickly tell that this formidable force is not new to hockey. He makes playing defense look so easy and he has a love for the game that overflows to his teammates.
