OMHA Playdowns
The Muskies began the play downs against a very good team from Prince Edward County. A team that only suffered one lose all season and allowed only 16 goals.

Lindsay had to travel to Wellington on Friday night for the first game of the best of five series. The first game was an eye opener for the team. The Muskie played a selfish style of hockey and as a result they were never in the game. The Muskies left Wellington stunned after suffering a 11-0 lose. Game two was on home ice and the Muskie game out determined to take a win at home. They followed the system and played as a team. The Muskies got any early led and went into the intermission with a 3 -1 lead. The third period did not play out as planned and the team again changed their style of play and PEC scored four quick goals and took the lead. They would later score an empty net goal to leave Lindsay with a convincing 6-3 win.
Game 3 was in Wellington and the boys knew that their backs were to the wall. They came out aggressive and determined. The Kings came out hard and scored four goals in the first period. Although the Muskies were down they never gave up and had a lot scoring opportunities but could not put the puck past the goalie. PEC would score one more in the second and one in the third. PEC won the game 6-0 and won the series at home 3-0.
The Muskies will wait to see who they are playing in the Lakeshore Playoffs set to begin after Feb 6. As well the team is looking at having some exhibition games with some local teams. Of course everyone is looking forward to the tournament in Bracebridge February 28 and March 1.
